A comprehensive program which begins with an introduction to Yogic kriyas, asanas, Yoga nidra. Meditations & Pranayama, relaxing Abhyanga Ayurveda massages & Special focus yoga sessions using art & music. The program includes consultations with the Ayurveda & Naturopathy doctors, private Yoga sessions and counseling by experienced Yoga team at Swaswara.

Detailed Itinerary

DAY 1Arrive Mumbai

Mumbai was named by the original inhabitants, the Kolis, after their goddess mother Mumba Devi. Mumbai was once a group of seven islands given to the British as a dowry when Charles II married Catherine of Braganza. The British leased the islands to the East India Company, who in turn began initial development of the city. Today this cosmopolitan city is one of India’s most important centres for commerce, foreign trade and the thriving film industry of Bollywood. Owing to its immense opportunities it attracts migrants all over India making the city a place of many communities and cultures.

Upon arrival into Mumbai, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to allow you to settle into your new home away from home experience.

Arrive Mumbai

DAY 2Mumbai

This morning we will start the day with a city tour. Our first stop is the Gateway of India and we’ll then walk through downtown Mumbai, full of amazing sights and architecture. Later on, we will visit the memorial built for Gandhi. You will drive through the Dhobi Ghat and the Hanging Gardens. Later you will visit the Prince of Wales Museum, and Mani Bhawan, the memorial built for Mahatma Gandhi. Time permitting, we will visit Juhu Beach where the wealthy residential areas make for an interesting drive by.


DAY 3Fly Mumbai - Goa - Gokarna (3.5 hrs drive)

Today fly to Goa. Upon arrival drive to Gokarna and arrive at Swaswara.

Here you will learn about and practice how to rejuvenate and balance your life. To relax, release and slow down in order to be able to hear and listen to your inner song or “Swara”. Be immersed in a comprehensive wellness program which begins with an introduction to Yogic kriyas, asanas, Yoga nidra. You’ll also learn and practice meditation and pranayama, enjoy relaxing Abhyanga Ayurveda massages and take special focus yoga sessions using art and music. The program includes consultations with Ayurveda and Naturopathy specialists, private yoga sessions and counselling by the experienced Yoga team at Swaswara.

Fly Mumbai - Goa - Gokarna (3.5 hrs drive)



  • Two full body Ayurveda Abhyanga massages
  • One Swaswara Destress therapy
  • Daily group yoga sessions including guided meditation.
  • Accommodation on full board basis inclusive of the three main meals
  • Unlimited Indian teas & herbal teas served with freshly made healthy cookies


  • 30 minute private yoga sessions
  • Introduction to the cleansing Yogic kriya session using jal neti to cleanse the nasal tracts and sinuses.

This cleansing procedure can be supplemented on the third day by a personalized elimination juice diet to cleanse the body of toxins, which will be supervised by a naturopathy specialist.


  • A detailed consultation with the Ayurveda doctor on arrival followed by check ups and interaction prior to each Ayurveda treatment
  • A Dosha / Prakruti analysis with the Ayurveda doctors
  • Two full body Ayurveda abhyanga massages per person


  • Daily guided yoga asana sessions parallel classes
  • Daily guided sunrise meditations
  • Daily guided evening meditations or chanting
  • A daily special focus Yoga session which could be on Yoga nidra/ Pranayama /Art yoga / Laughter yoga / Mandala meditation
  • Guided art classes to explore and express your creativity guided by our resident artist
  • Guided nature walks, village visits and bird watching trips accompanied by our staff (subject to weather during the Monsoons)
  • Thursday - a guided walking excursion into Gokarna to explore the old town and temples which ends at the weekly farmer’s market.
  • Daily interactive cooking sessions with the Chef and his team in the kitchen at 11.30am
  • Karma Yoga - if you wish you can join the staff for a community-based group exercise which could be helping on the farm, gardening or beach cleaning
  • Weekly cultural programs showcasing traditional dance forms or musical show.

DAY 9Swaswara - Goa (3.5 hrs drive) - Departu

This morning transferred to Goa airport to connect to your international flight back home.
