Built over a thousand years ago, it features more than 3,500 perfectly aligned steps descending 13 stories deep. Designed to conserve water in the arid climate, this geometric marvel also served as a social hub. Admire its intricate stonework before continuing to Agra, the famed “City of Love.”

In the evening, witness the grand live performance (6:30 PM till 8 PM) of “Mohabbat-e-Taj”, based on the love story of the Taj Mahal. This theatrical show portrays the lavish lifestyle of the Mughal era and the story of the emperor Shah Jahan and his beloved Mumtaz Mahal. The duration of the evening performance is approximately 90 minutes.
Early morning, board a train bound for Khajuraho, known for its stunning temples and exquisite sculptures. The journey takes you through the Indian heartland, offering glimpses of rural life. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Late afternoon, visit the UNESCO World Heritage temples of Khajuraho, masterpieces of the Chandela dynasty (10th–12th centuries). Once the royal hunting ground of princely states, Panna is now a proud symbol of conservation success, known for its resurgent Bengal tiger population and incredible biodiversity. Known as Kashi, it’s a sacred pilgrimage site where faith, rituals, and devotion thrive. Hindus believe dying here grants salvation and freedom from rebirth. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax.
In the evening, join your guide for a walk through the oldest and most famous narrow and winding lanes of the city, past the endless human panorama - pilgrims, worshipers, sadhus, children selling flowers, and floating lights to place in the river. Arrive at the ghats at the Ganges to witness the Aarti Ceremony which is part of the evening puja or prayers. During the ceremony deewas (oil lamps) are offered to Mother Ganges with thanks and devotion for the light of the sun and for her divine light. As the Aarti fire ceremonies take place, bells are rung and chanting and singing provide a fascinating, magical, and spiritual conclusion to the day’s end.
Early this morning, we’ll take a boat ride on the river Ganges, fully experiencing its incredible beauty. This experience is deep because it shows how life and death come together. Along the two kilometers of bathing ghats, we’ll observe pilgrims seeking spiritual salvation and cleansing, their strong faith evident as they bathe in the holy waters. Amidst the lively pilgrimage atmosphere, the Ganga Ghats represent the enduring significance of life and spirituality, reminding us of the eternal cycle we’re all part of.
After the boat ride, take a spiritual walking tour through Varanasi’s winding lanes and sacred ghats. More than just a city, Varanasi is a cultural and spiritual hub where history, faith, and devotion intertwine. This immersive journey takes you back in time, revealing the astronomical marvels, revered temples, and sacred sites that have shaped its spiritual essence.
Afternoon, visit the buried city of Sarnath. Located outside the holy city of Varanasi, Sarnath is a peaceful center of the Buddhist faith. Visit the Dhamek Stupa, a massive structure marking the spot where Lord Buddha is believed to have given his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. Admire the intricate carvings and gain insight into Buddhist philosophy. Explore the Ashoka Pillar, a significant historical artifact with inscriptions related to Emperor Ashoka’s conversion to Buddhism.
