Welcome to New Delhi - the capital city of India, home to approximately 17 million inhabitants! The city is divided into two parts including Old Delhi, located near the River Yamuna, and New Delhi, home to the national government, the imperial city created by the British Raj. This city is a fusion of the ancient and the modern and paints perfect picture rich with culture, architecture, human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries and gardens.
Upon arrival into Delhi, our representative will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to allowing you to settle into your new home away from home experience.
We shall begin this morning inside the charming lanes of Old Delhi. We will explore it by traveling in a rickshaw as your feast your eyes on colourful bazaars, sacred temples and colonial monuments.
Visit India's largest mosque, the white marble Jama Masjid or “Friday Mosque.” Rising from between the crowded medieval streets of Old Delhi, the Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India.
Later we shall lay eyes on New Delhi. The city was designed and built by the British in the 1920s and is made up of well-composed and spacious streets under the shade of beautiful trees and beautiful colonial government buildings. As you navigate the city, you will drive along the ceremonial avenue, Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House.
You will also see Humayun's Tomb, which was built by the wife of Mughal Emperor Humayun, Haji Begum, in the mid-16th century. This red sandstone structure is considered to be the predecessor of Taj Mahal and one of the best examples of Mughal architecture.

Today we shall drive to Agra. This is a fascinating way to see India as we wind our way down from the foothills back to the plains and onward to the city of love and home to the famous Taj Mahal. Upon arrival we will assist with the check-in process at your hotel.
In the evening, look forward to a Romantic Balcony Dining with the breathtaking views of exquisitely landscaped gardens, cascading water bodies and the unmistakable silhouette of the Taj Mahal, while dining on the finest handcrafted cuisine, served by your personal butler.
Rise early and enjoy a spectacular sunrise tour of the famous Taj Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. The design and construction are said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori. What makes the Taj Mahal unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, precise and detailed construction and decorative architecture. Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day.
Later in the day we drive to Jaipur, also referred as the ‘Pink City’ due to its many pink sandstone monuments. Witness its vibrant culture on dazzling display in the lively local streets and bazaars. It is one of the great cities of the Rajput, with historic forts, palaces and gardens. Jaipur is named after its founder, the warrior and astronomer sovereign Sawai Jai Singh II who planned his new capital to reflect the increasing wealth of the kingdom.
Post breakfast we shall visit the splendid Amber Fort, a spectacular complex of palaces, temples and apartments that offers a stunning view of the city. It is a marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Feel the history and visualize the pomp and grandeur of a kingdom never conquered.
Our next stop will be the stunning City Palace, a former royal residence built in the center of the old city, blends in perfectly the Rajasthani and Mughal architecture styles. We move onto Jantar Mantar, the largest of the five remarkable observatories built by Jaipur’s founder. Its complex instruments, with scientifically designed settings and shapes, represent the high points of medieval Indian astronomy. We’ll also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), where a high and intricately carved wall allowed the women of the court to watch the royal processions below.
Wander through the local markets as you gaze at the various stalls displaying traditional jewellery, textiles and handicrafts. You will find everything you need here!
Spend a romantic afternoon with your loved one renewing your vows in Bollywood style. Styled in traditional kurta pajamas and a sari, you will be guided through a traditional ceremony and will re-tie the knot with an exchange of fresh flower garlands along with a Hindu Renewal of Vows Ceremony.
Today spend the day amidst the clouds. Wake up at 4:45am to experience a Hot Air Balloon ride over Jaipur’s countryside. This is a two-hour adventure with one hour in the air. Fly over the mighty forts and palaces to enjoy a bird’s eye view of Jaipur.
This afternoon, travel in a vintage car - one of the Maharajas personal collection items and explore the labyrinthine streets of a Rajasthani town and the surrounding countryside. Spend time in a nearby village called Dera Amer, a preserved wilderness of natural beauty creating a sanctuary for animals to live in. The elephants and camels are adopted from Amer Fort and rescued from a life of hard labour.
On arrival, enjoy a friendly interaction with the elephants. Walk through the nearby forest area and take the elephants for their evening walk along the treks conducted in the original Aravalli forests surrounding the camp. Enroute marvel at the traditional homes, agricultural fields, hills and ancient monuments.
End your day with an intimate jungle dinner at Dera Amer under the stars and later in the evening we will drive back to your hotel.
Begin the day with a blessing ceremony with a local priest at the 280 years old Lord Shiva Temple nestled in the center of the resort. This blessing ceremony performed under the auspices of the temple ‘pundit’/priest who prays for health, happiness and well-being, where couples exchange garlands.
Late this morning drive to Jodhpur also known as the Blue City for the blue-washed color of its houses. The city is set right at the edge of the Thar Desert and strewn with forts and palaces that date back to the 15th century. A high stone wall with seven gates rings the city, the second-largest in Rajasthan, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD. Upon arrival we will assist with the check-in process and allow time to freshen up.
This evening, we shall transport you to a bygone era. The ‘Shikaar’ dinner is organized in the vast wilderness that surrounds Mihir Garh. You are requested to mount camels or climb on to beautifully bedecked camel carts to start your journey towards the Shikaar camp. You are welcomed in true traditional royal style with a glass of refreshing welcome drink and the famous Gypsy musicians of Rajasthan - The Kaalbelias. Large mattresses with bolstered cushions and the traditional ‘Chaar Pai’ beds surrounding the fire beckon you. You dine royally and the menu is full of traditional delicacies from the kitchens consisting of an array of barbecue delights.

It’s time to witness the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, also the location of the Disney's 1994 film The Jungle Book. Rising perpendicular from a rocky cliff, this fort is packed with history and legends. Enjoy a magnificent vista of the city from here.
You will also visit the nearby Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph close by and an ideal spot from which to photograph the Fort.
Later get ready for a luxurious dining experience amidst the wilderness. Royal Picnics are a great extension of our safaris. A beautiful location by one of the many small lakes that dot the region. An abundance of migratory birds for company, along with the occasional shepherd coming to water his sheep, all this while you recline on bolster cushions under the shade of the ‘Jaalki’ tree with a tall glass of something refreshing or you can order wine or beer. Lunch is served under our specially designed tent with ornate tassels, crisp covers, attended upon by our staff. Enjoy some royal dishes straight out of the Mihir Garh kitchens.
This evening, join your guide for a trail through the traditional and vibrant bazaars of Jodhpur, representing the cultural consciousness of its inhabitants. Jodhpur is renowned for its leatherwork, antiques and fabric merchants. Discover the bazaar’s history, culture, architectural nuances, and also see the street food enroute.
Its ‘now time to move to the highlight destination of your journey. We drive to Udaipur the “City of Sunrise,” India’s most romantic city, built around four lakes. The blue waters reflect the shimmering white palaces and temples and the whole city exudes a feeling of peace and space.
Upon arrival, we will assist with the check in process and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure and admire the stunning views.
Explore the City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. Though it is a conglomeration of buildings built by successive rulers, it manages to retain a surprising uniformity of design and impressive views of the lake. We’ll then proceed on to the Jagdish temple which enshrines a black stone image of Lord Vishnu and his vehicle - a mighty bird called Garuda in a brass image. The temple is a fine example of Indo-Aryan art.
Late this afternoon, enjoy an exclusive boat ride in Lake Pichola, overlooking the magnificent Udaipur Palace. The leisurely ride gives you a panoramic view of this spectacular medieval city. As you enjoy your boat ride, learn all about the enthralling history of the Maharanas of Mewar, including heroic tales of Udaipur’s brave kings and queens.
This evening, enjoy a romantic candle light dinner at a special venue at your hotel with a handcrafted menu and impeccable service. The palace, its stunning lake and regal views, guarantees culinary memories you will cherish forever.
Today you will transfer to the airport for your flight to Delhi. On arrival connect to your international flight back home.
