DAY 1Arrive Mumbai

Welcome to the Maximum City - Mumbai. A city full of dreamers, Mumbai is the financial capital of India, a cultural riot and home to the famous Indian film industry - Bollywood.

Check-in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2Mumbai - City Highlights

Mumbai is not a city; it is an emotion. Once a city of seven islands, it boasts of some spectacular colonial architecture, lip smacking street food, bustling markets and locals who give the city its energetic vibe.

Spend the day exploring the highlights of this city and know its pulse like no other.

DAY 3Fly Mumbai - Bhopal (afternoon city tour)

After breakfast spend the first half of the day knowing more about Mumbai. You can pick an offbeat trail around the city or a Bollywood dance workshop to leave the city with a bang.

Evening we take our flight to the city of Bhopal.

DAY 4Bhopal - Sanchi Excursion

Bhopal is a city with a contrasting skyline - one dotted with lakes and the other with beautiful architecture. Welcome to the pandora’s box of India’s historic centre.

After check-in at the hotel, we shall visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Sanchi Stupa. It is not only one of the oldest Buddhist monuments in India, it's also the oldest stone structure in the country. Marvel at this well-preserved gem of history. Overnight in Bhopal.

DAY 5Bhopal - Excursion to Bhimbetka & Bhojpur

After a hearty breakfast we shall explore the Bhimbetka rock shelters another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rocks are believed to have been a witness to the Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods. Spanning across 10 km, there are close to 750 rock shelters and seven hills in the area.

We break for lunch and post that we head to the Bhojpur temple, which is an incomplete Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

DAY 6Bhojpur - Fort Amla

Today, post breakfast we shall wander inside the rustic Fort Amla. It was built by the descendent of Bappa Rawal of Udaipur the founder of Amla kingdom. A part of the fort has been converted into a hotel in order to relive the history as well as the grandeur. Fort Amla offers a unique opportunity to experience the rich heritage of Indian culture in its true sense.Today, post breakfast we shall wander inside the rustic Fort Amla. Today we drive to the city of Dhar which was once a prominent region of the Mughals of Delhi. Packed with amazing sights such as forts, ancient structures, old temples, mosque and streams, Dhar is filled with architectural wonder and stunning natural beauty.

DAY 8Dhar - Mandu - Maheshwar

Post breakfast we shall step inside the magical town of Mandu. Adorned with spell-binding Afghan architecture and baobab trees, native to Africa, the palaces in Mandu are still alive with royal romance while the gateways speak of a history filled with imperial conquests.

After lunch we shall visit the city of Maheshwar. Standing on the edge of the Narmada river, here you will find treasure trove of temples and folklore that will take you back in time.

Spend the day exploring the many facets of Maheshwar.

Marvel at the magnificent Ahilyeshwar temple, stroll along the atmospheric ghats to observe the daily life, take a sunset boat ride near the ghats or indulge in shopping as you pick some of the best handwoven sarees and fabrics.

DAY 10Maheshwari - Satpura National Park

It’s finally time to enter the wild plains of Madhya Pradesh.

We move to the stunning Satpura National Park. A wildlife enthusiast’s paradise, it is truly central India's best kept secret. Located in the Hoshangabad district, this park offers visitors a chance to explore the ravines and dense forests without the maddening crowd.

DAY 11Satpura

Apart from jeep, elephant and boat Safaris, Satpura is the only park of its kind in Central India that offers walking safaris, giving enthusiasts a ‘one of a kind’ opportunity to explore a tiger reserve on foot.

Enjoy an early morning jeep safari inside the serene park.

Be back for lunch. Post some rest, you can enjoy an evening boat ride on the tranquil river.

Today spend the day amidst the jungle with a morning jeep safari and evening you can visit the black-buck area or enjoy a buffer night drive.

DAY 13Satpura - Kanha National Park

After experiencing the forest of Satpura, it is time to get onto the next wildlife adventure at the Kanha National Park.

Tucked away in the Eastern part of the Central-Indian Satpura Range, Kanha promises to be a special experience. Legendary for its wilderness, tiger sightings and birding, Kanha has the distinction of harbouring the last of the highly endangered Hard Ground Barasingha, a major conservation milestone.

Today, we leave for an early morning jeep safari. The vast size of the park makes extended explorations possible and Kanha is a favourite with photographers for its sheer quality of wildlife viewing.

Return to the resort for breakfast. Some free time for relaxation. After Lunch, again we shall leave for a jungle safari.

Post breakfast we drive to Raipur and take our flight to Mumbai.

You shall use the day rooms at an airport hotel and take your connecting international flight back home with memories of the beautiful journey inside the beating heart of India.
